The department is headed by Dr. Jatinder Malhotra who is expert in Critical Care Medicine and is working in this field for last 20 years. Critical Care Medicine is a branch in which awareness is required throughout the country. Much has been done in last decade but still much is to be done.

Basically it is a combination of Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine which comes in to picture in case of any life threatening emergency.
